Live sonar changed how the Big O gets fished, and the ActiveTarget 2 XL is Lowrance's answer to the biggest complaint anglers had about the first generation: the narrow window. The XL transducer throws a full 180° picture — Forward XL, Down XL, and Scout views off one transducer — so you can sit off an edge and read the whole area in front of you instead of panning around hunting for it. Watch a fish come out of the cover, watch it track your bait, and know right then whether your presentation is working or whether you need to change something.

Run two complete systems on an HDS PRO and you unlock Lowrance's Scout Live 360° view around the entire boat. Already running an ActiveTarget 2 module? The XL transducer works with it, so you can upgrade the picture without replacing the whole system.
