The Tatula XT is built on HVF (High Volume Fiber) graphite with X45 Bias and Braiding-X construction, which is Daiwa's way of stopping the blank from twisting on a hookset so the power goes into the fish instead of into the rod. There are seventeen models here covering most of what you'd do on Okeechobee — a 7'4" heavy extra-fast frogging stick rated for 55-80 lb braid, a 7'6" extra-heavy flipping rod, two fiberglass cranking rods with a moderate action, and a full spinning lineup for shaky heads and finesse work. The series also runs down to a pair of 6'5" light bait-finesse casting rods.
All seventeen models carry Fuji Aluminum Oxide guides, EVA split grips and Daiwa's Tatula carbon-nut reel seat.
