Daiwa's budget spinning reel that doesn't feel like one.
The Legalis LT is built on Daiwa's LT (Light and Tough) body made from ZAION-V, a material that's lighter and more rigid than standard reel housings, with a ZAION-V Air Rotor to cut weight further. What that adds up to on the water is a reel you can hold all day without your forearm giving out — which matters if you're shaking a worm or throwing a small swimbait along the Okeechobee grass lines from daylight to dark. The 2500 and 3000 sizes are the ones most bass anglers reach for; the 4000 through 6000 have the line capacity and drag for inshore and heavier freshwater work.
- LT Body — light yet tough construction in ZAION-V, lighter and more rigid than standard materials
- ZAION-V Air Rotor — reduces weight and adds rigidity for less fatigue over a full day
- 6 bearings — 5 ball bearings plus 1 roller bearing across the entire lineup
- Eight sizes — 1000 through 6000, including an extra-high-speed 2500XH
